The profound story of husband and wife, Raynor and Moth Winn’s 630-mile trek along the beautiful, but rugged Cornish, Devon and Dorset coastline. The movie starts at 7.30. The next cinema club presentation will be 'Yesterday' on Friday, October 10th.

‘PADDINGTON IN PERU’
The next Cinema Club presentation will take place on Friday September 12th when we will be showing 'Paddington in Peru'
"Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired bears. However, when he discovers that Aunt Lucy has gone missing, he and the Brown family embark on an adventure to the jungles of Peru to find her".

It feels a bit early to mention Christmas but the elves at the Club are already busy preparing for the Children's Christmas event. This year everyone (club members and non members) can enjoy the experience down at the Club House. There will be a charge to everyone who would like to attend, club members will receive a reduced rate. We need to charge to be able to run the event this year.
Tickets will go on sale for Hursley club members from Monday 7 October and can be purchased for £5 each. When we say members it means the child has to be a member of the club. Non members will be able to buy a ticket from Monday 28 October for £10 each. Tickets will only need to be purchased for each child, adults attending will be free. There will be a limited amount of tickets.
Ticket price includes a walk through the winter wonderland, meeting Father Christmas and receiving a gift, children's entertainer, face painter and refreshments.
The event is open to primary school children and younger (birth to school year 6). All children will receive a present. Vouchers will no longer be given.
Tickets can be purchased from the Club or D1100 (cash or card at both locations).
To ensure Father Christmas has the correct presents in time, ticket sales will close on Friday 15 November.

We had the warmup session on the 27th September which was attended by 9 teams.
Now its time for the new Trivia League season begins on the 25th October. If you want to participate then you need to let the office know the name of your team, contact details for the captain and pay an upfront cost of £40 for the season. You are wecome to come for a single evening, but the cost is £9.
The monthly trivia league runs from October to May with no trivia in December. Teams consist of 6 players on the night and you can have reserves to replace players who are not available.
